This hybrid, field-based role is perfect for a proactive marketer with strong people skills, an in-depth understanding of B2B trade customers, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities

- Establish rapport and trust with branch managers and teams, acting as the local marketing liaison to Head Office.
- Collect monthly feedback through surveys (e.g., Google Forms) to inform campaign planning.
Social Media Management
- Create and publish engaging, localised content (at least two posts per week for each active branch) across Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Take branch photos and videos during visits to help produce authentic, real-time posts.
- Monitor and report on engagement (likes, comments, shares) using Meta Business Suite and Hootsuite, aiming for 2–3% engagement per post.
- Assist in planning themes for national campaigns and seasonal content.
Website & Digital Content
- Ensure the Burton Roofing website’s branch pages are accurate and up to date (e.g., products, events, hours).
- Use CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) to update digital listings.
- Coordinate QR code promotions to track branch engagement.
Local Promotions & Events
- Identify and execute local marketing activities, such as offering discounts, hosting giveaways, or collaborating with local charities.
- Organise and support in-branch trade days, open houses, and community events.
- Coordinate event logistics: banners, flyers, signage, catering, and post-event surveys.
Supplier Campaigns
- Collaborate with suppliers to localise national campaigns.
- Ensure branches receive campaign collateral, updates, and briefings.
- Support POS (point-of-sale) material distribution and promotions.
Corporate Hospitality & Sponsorship
- Assist in organising corporate events such as golf days and match sponsorships.
- Promote activities via social media and post-event content.
Reporting & Collaboration
- Attend monthly strategy meetings with the Marketing Manager and branch leadership.
- Submit monthly reports on social media insights, local achievements, and suggested improvements.
- Support wider campaign rollouts and seasonal initiatives.
