Joinery Sales Trainee

This is a great opportunity for a pro-active individual to take ownership of the sales and development of the windows and doors side of the business in our well established and busy Perth branch. You will be encouraged and given the freedom to develop your own ideas that support the branch goals.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Providing quotations for customers
• Purchasing materials and managing stock levels for the category
• Dealing with customers both face to face and over the telephone
• Giving excellent customer service and sound product advice
• Taking a proactive approach to sales, using every opportunity to make or increase a sale

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

• Sound product knowledge within the wooden windows or doors side of the business is an advantage, but training will be given.
• Previous similar sales experience is another advantage for this role, but training again will be given
• Confident dealing with customers both face to face and over the telephone
• The ability to build and maintain great customer relationships is preferred, training is available
• A good telephone manner, excellent communication and interpersonal skill
• A hunger for learning and development is essential.
• Computer literate.
