Your Core Responsibilities Will Include:


As a key member of the branch team, you will be the face of Travis Perkins' hire service, driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Customer Service Excellence: Build strong relationships, provide prompt and professional service, and handle customer inquiries about our wide range of products and services.

  • Driving Sales & Profitability: Process sales transactions accurately, proactively follow sales strategies, and work towards achieving individual and branch sales targets (KPIs).

  • Health & Safety Focus: Prioritise a safe working environment, handling stock and equipment safely and adhering to all company regulations.

  • Operational Support: Assist with stock management, maintain a clean and organised sales and hire area, and ensure all administration and paperwork are completed accurately.

We are looking for someone who is ready to hit the ground running, is enthusiastic, and puts safety first.


Essential:


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A positive and friendly attitude with a strong customer service focus.

  • Reliable, with a good work ethic and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • The ability to prioritise health and safety at all times.


Preferred (But Not Essential):


  • Previous experience in a similar customer-facing role.

  • Knowledge of tools, equipment, or building materials and their uses.
