About Mannok Build
With over 50 years of manufacturing and service excellence, Mannok is a leading UK and Ireland based manufacturer of high quality building materials and construction solutions. Our main operations span across 3 mile between Fermanagh and Cavan, straddling the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. From its origins as a small quarrying business, Mannok has grown into a diverse industrial group supplying cement, concrete products, insulation, rooftiles, and packaging solutions across Ireland, the UK, and Europe. As one of the region’s largest employers, we are proud to play a central role in supporting both the social and economic prosperity of our local communities. Our name, Mannok, is derived from the Gaelic Fear Manach, the origin of the name Fermanagh, reflecting the deep connection we share with our people and the places where we live and work. Mannok was acquired by Çimsa, a global building materials leader within the Sabancı Holdings group. Today, the Mannok brand serves as a strategic growth hub for Çimsa and Sabancı in Ireland and the UK, with our local management team continuing to lead the business. Known for its commitment to innovation, manufacturing excellence, and sustainability, Mannok works closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and developers to deliver reliable, cost effective solutions while investing in low carbon technologies and initiatives that benefit both the environment and the communities we serve.
Company culture
At Mannok, we value the strength, skill, and ingenuity of our workforce, and we are committed to investing in our people to help them achieve their career goals. Our diverse culture is reflected across our business and our people, with a focus on collaboration, inclusion, and continuous development. A career with Mannok offers significant opportunities for learning and growth through our Skills Development Programme, professional qualifications, apprenticeships, mentorship, workshops, and leadership development, ensuring employees are supported, recognised, and empowered to reach their full potential.
We also recognise the importance of supporting our employees’ mental health and wellbeing. Our approach goes beyond physical safety, promoting mental and physical wellbeing through initiatives such as our partnership with the local mental health charity AWARE, a new Mental Health Charter, trained mental health first aiders, and manager training. Employees have access to a digital health and wellbeing portal, offering fitness, mindfulness, and tailored wellbeing resources, while activities and guidance are actively promoted through internal communication channels.
With over 800 employees and nearly 50 years of manufacturing history, Mannok is an industry leader, supplying quality products to some of the largest organisations in the construction and food packaging sectors. Sustainability sits at the heart of our values, as outlined in our 2030 Vision. Built on the pillars of People, Planet, and Partners, our culture ensures every employee contributes to the long term social, economic, and environmental sustainability of our region, while enjoying a workplace where they are valued, supported, and proud to belong.

Employees enjoy an attractive performance related pay scheme with annual salary review, a pension scheme, and life assurance, alongside sponsorship for professional qualifications and study leave. Our enhanced company sick scheme, 31 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays, and incremental holiday increases for long-term service. Mannok also offers a Skills Development Programme with structured career pathways linked to salary increments, rewarding multi-skilled personnel, as well as a social club, discounts on company products, and a Health and Wellbeing Programme. Together, these benefits ensure employees feel valued, motivated, and supported, both personally and professionally.
Career development and growth
A career with Mannok offers a wide range of opportunities for continuous learning and professional development, both within your role and through our numerous educational and professional development partnerships. We are committed to helping employees reach their full potential, offering clear pathways for career advancement across all areas of the business.
Our Skills Development Programme is a cornerstone of this approach. We are transforming how we develop, measure, and recognise skills and competency levels across the business by extending our award-winning programme to every employee. The programme provides a structured development pathway, along with the training materials needed to support progression. Progress is linked to salary increases, ensuring employees are financially rewarded for their skills and experience while being supported and encouraged to achieve their career goals.
Mannok actively supports professional qualifications, enabling employees to pursue recognised courses and qualifications in a wide range of disciplines through partnerships with some of the country’s leading educational and professional bodies. Employees have the opportunity to gain degree-level qualifications and progress to become chartered in their relevant role, helping them grow their careers and expertise while contributing to the success of the business.
Complementing these programmes, Mannok provides apprenticeships, on-the-job training, mentorship opportunities, workshops, online learning platforms, and leadership development programmes to prepare the next generation of managers and leaders. This comprehensive approach ensures a culture where ambition is recognised, talent is nurtured, and long-term career goals are achievable.
EDI (equity, diversity & inclusion) initiatives
Mannok is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where equity, diversity, and belonging are central to how we operate. Policies and programmes ensure fair recruitment, career progression, and accessibility for all employees. Employee resource groups provide platforms for collaboration and support, while training and awareness initiatives strengthen understanding of inclusion across the business. By prioritizing diversity, Mannok fosters innovation, collaboration, and a culture where every employee can succeed.
Sustainability / environmental stewardship
Mannok places sustainability and environmental stewardship at the core of its business mission, actively working to reduce its environmental impact and help drive positive change in the built environment. Through its Mannok 2030 Vision, the company has set ambitious decarbonisation targets, including a substantial reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and a longer‑term goal of achieving net zero by 2050 and embeds sustainability principles across its operations and products.
Mannok’s approach includes investing in energy efficient production technologies, using alternative fuels like solid recovered fuel to lower carbon emissions, and providing eco engineered building products designed to improve energy performance and reduce lifecycle environmental impact.
Environmental stewardship also extends to biodiversity and land management: the company has established dedicated biodiversity committees, undertaken large‑scale native tree planting projects, partnered with local conservation organisations, and implemented responsible quarrying practices to protect ecosystems on and around its extensive land holdings.
Across all functions, Mannok promotes sustainability awareness among employees, suppliers and communities, striving to balance innovation with environmental responsibility while maintaining transparency and accountability in its sustainability progress.
