Job description

Beesley and Fildes Ltd are currently recruiting for an Internal Sales Representative to work out of our branch based in Birkenhead.

As a Internal Sales Representative you will be responsible for initial client interactions and development of existing accounts . In return we offer a competitive salary, ongoing career progression/development and the opportunity to join a well-established, leading Builders Merchants in the North-West.

Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30am – 17:00pm and alternating Saturday – 08:00am – 12:00pm.

Main Duties

  • Follow up and file quotations issued to check competitiveness and to secure sales
  • Answer all internal sales enquiries, advising product availability, delivery dates, transport schedules and product lead-times promptly and accurately
  • To proactively call targeted accounts as requested by Management
  • Respond to telephone sale enquiries, pricing in accordance with current guidelines, to maximise their profitable conversion to orders

Requirements

  • Customer service experience
  • MS Office proficient
  • Sales background (essential)
  • Experience in a building merchant setting (essential)
  • Strong track record of meeting and exceeding KPI’s with annual billings in excess of £1M
