Join our team at RGB, a respected independent builder’s merchant serving the Southwest since 1850. With a commitment to quality products and exceptional customer service, we are part of the Independent Builders Merchant Group (IBMG), the largest independent merchant group in the South of England.

We’re expanding our team at our Penzance Branch and are looking for a dependable HGV Driver to help us continue delivering excellent service to our trade and retail customers.

The Role

We are currently seeking a skilled HGV Driver to join our team at Penzance RGB Penzance The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations. When not driving you will be required to work in the yard serving customers and assisting in yard duties.

Requirements

Specific Experience & Skills Required

• To transport goods and materials to designated locations
• Ensure safe and timely delivery of products
• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary

• HIAB Class 2 licence ( Preferred but not essential as in house training available)
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
• Excellent driving skills
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  

The Hours 

Week 1: Monday to Friday – 07:30 to 17:00

Week 2 : Monday to Friday – 07:30 to 17:00 & Saturdays 08:00-12:00
