️ The Role

We’re looking for a full-time Yard Sales Assistant to join our Barnstaple branch.

You will: • Handle and maintain yard stock
• Load & unload customer, supplier, and company vehicles
• Serve customers and advise on products and availability
• Keep the yard clean, safe, and organised
• Follow Health & Safety standards at all times

You’ll report directly to the Branch Manager.

Requirements

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Yard or warehouse experience (preferred)
• Experience loading/unloading goods (advantageous)
• Counterbalance forklift licence (advantageous)
• Builders’ merchant experience (a plus)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Positive, self-motivated attitude
• Team player who can also work independently

⏰ Working Hours

Week 1:
Mon–Fri: 07:30 – 16:30

Week 2:
Mon–Fri: 07:30 – 16:30
Sat: 08:00 – 12:00
