Trade Sales Assistant

We are looking for a Trade Sales Assistant to work at our Hinckley branch.

Pochin are a Midlands based plumbers’ merchant operating 32 trade branches and 10 bathroom showrooms.

Reporting to: Trade Sales Manager, Pochin Hinckley

• Welcoming and assisting both trade customers and the public
• Following up with customers and maintain customer relations
• Using our ERP to setup customers, manage inventory and submit supplier purchase orders
• Use sales skills to identify opportunities and increase sales and margins.
• Inform customers of sales/promotions to meet targets
• Stock Checking / Receipting goods in
• Liaising with suppliers for support and technical queries
• Working Hours – 7:30 – 5pm with 1 hour lunch. Saturdays are part of a rota and are 8am-12pm.
• Driving the company van (Luton van) and making deliveries

Requirements

• A UK Driving license is essential
• Previous Plumbing and Heating sales counter experience / knowledge is desirable
• IT skills / computer literate
• Customer service and communicational skills
• Good organisation skills, able to manage time efficiently
• Be a motivated and committed individual
• Comfortable driving the company van and making deliveries
