Job description
Resapol is a distributor of specialist building products. We work with all the leading UK manufacturers through our UK-wide network of branches. We offer a great brand name after 25 years in business.
This Regional Sales Manager role will cover the North of England and they will be responsible for generating new sales within their designated region. They will work proactively with branch teams to develop a sales action plan to identify and target new sales opportunities in order to meet annual sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a sales action plan to generate sales opportunity in order to deliver the annual sales targets for their region.
- Managing, tracking and negotiation of trading agreements for allocated accounts.
- Proactively building relationships with key decision makers in their region (existing & new) to promote new offers and branch campaigns to generate new business for the region based on annual sales targets.
- Works with internal stakeholders to develop sales propositions and proposals to pitch to key decision makers, negotiating and closing sales opportunities.
- Tracks progress against the agreed sales action plan & updates the CRM system accordingly.
- Works with the branch technical sales team to share customer/market intel, generate new opportunities and closing sales opportunities.
- Works with branch colleagues to ensure their clients receive excellent customer service and will support in customer complaint resolution.
- Ensures compliance to the Company’s health and safety processes and procedures.
- Updates their own & colleagues knowledge on new products and changes to product lines.
Company car, laptop and phone will be provided for this role.
Requirements
Skills/Qualifications/Experience
- Excellent customer facing skills with previous extensive experience working in a customer facing sales environment.
- Experience in managing senior client relationships.
- Previous experience of working in a trade/construction environment.
- Previous experience of managing people in a trade/construction/logistics environment.
- IT literate and able to use MS Office.
- GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent experience.
- Full clean drivers licence.
