The Role
We are looking for a Sales Support Assistant to join our Plumbing & Heating team. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting our three DW Burns branches, providing essential cover and assistance across sales, warehouse, and delivery functions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of customer-facing and operational responsibilities and is keen to develop their career within a growing business.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Providing branch cover across all three DW Burns locations as required.
- Supporting trade counter and sales activities.
- Assisting customers with product enquiries and orders.
- Carrying out warehouse duties, including stock handling and organisation.
- Completing deliveries when required.
- Supporting branch teams to ensure excellent customer service and smooth day-to-day operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience within a builders’ merchant, plumbing merchant, or trade environment would be advantageous.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Flexible approach and willingness to work across multiple branch locations.
- Comfortable carrying out warehouse and delivery duties.
- Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems.
- Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented attitude.
Hours
24 hours per week on a two-week rota:
Week 1
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am to 5:00pm
- Saturday: 8:00am to 12:00pm
Week 2
- Tuesday to Thursday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
