Internal Sales Person

High Wycombe | Grant & Stone Building Supplies

Full Time: Perm (Part of IBMG)

Since 1987, Grant & Stone Building Supplies has supported construction projects across the Southeast. As part of Independent Builders Merchants Group (IBMG), we combine local expertise with national strength, delivering outstanding customer service and specialist product knowledge.

We're looking for a motivated Internal Sales Person to join our team at ​Grant & Stone Building Supplies in High Wycombe.

What You'll Do


  • Serve customers face-to-face and over the phone.

  • Respond to enquiries professionally and efficiently.

  • Support the sales team in achieving branch targets.

  • Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business.

  • Maintain excellent product knowledge to provide advice and recommendations.

  • Assist with stock management and replenishment.

  • Keep the sales area organised and presentable.

  • Use computer-based sales systems (full training provided).

  • Support wider branch operations, including stock control and yard duties when needed.


What We're Looking For


  • Previous customer service, retail, or sales experience.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • A positive, customer-focused approach.

  • Confidence handling telephone enquiries.

  • Good basic computer skills.

  • Team player with a proactive attitude.

  • Motivated to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent service.


Working Hours

Week 1

  • Monday to Friday: 7:30am – 5:15pm

Week 2

  • Monday to Friday: 7:30am – 5:15pm

  • Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm
