As a general factory assistant will be expected to perform any of the following tasks:
Ensure that safe working practices are strictly adhered to, as well as that the efficiency and cleanliness of the production facilities are maintained.
Ensure the safe storage of all goods handled and all orders are safely strapped and packaged for transportation. Assist other staff as requested by the Production Manager.
A Production Manager will be expected to maximise the profitability of the production unit, and ensure that safe working practices are strictly adhered to, the H&S Policy is fully observed and all inspections and examinations are carried out on time.

Ensure the accurate recording of production times, methods and costs while scheduling the production of materials to cover customer demands. You will ensure that cover is provided for all production processes and liaising with the General Manager to manage this.
You will complete a production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries. You will maintain the efficiency and cleanliness of the production facilities, as well as maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing company standards.
Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques, Provide production information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analysing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
