What will you be doing?
You’ll be delivering building materials from our branch to local customers, making sure everything’s safe and sound. You’ll load up your vehicle with the HIAB, double-check it’s all properly packed and legal, and then hit the road. As our face on the road, you’ll keep it professional while making around 14 drops a day, then head back to the branch to reload when needed.
Who you are

Requirements: You’ll need a Class 2 driving license, up-to-date CPC records, and have held a Category B license for 12+ months.

HIAB experience: Don’t have HIAB experience? No problem! We’ll fund your HIAB training.

Customer-focused: You’ll be confident building and developing relationships with customers.

Safety-focused: You’ll prioritize safety in every aspect of your work, completing tasks in a professional manner.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 4.30pm – No Weekend or Bank Holiday Working!
What you’ll be doing
As a Customer Sales Assistant, you’ll be the welcoming face of our branch. Your main focus will be delivering brilliant customer service and building strong relationships with the people who rely on us every day. Many of our customers visit regularly, so you’ll soon get to know them by name.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Helping customers with enquiries and offering product advice
- Preparing quotes and supporting customers with their purchases
- Ensuring products move safely and efficiently through the branch
- Keeping the branch safe by following all health and safety procedures
- Occasionally supporting with deliveries using our Mercedes Sprinter van (a full, clean driving licence is required)
- This is a hands‑on role where great service and a positive attitude make all the difference.
