Career development and growth

Plant Courses –  A.R.Richards we put our staff through Loadall and Fork lift courses, this creates efficiency on the yard and also gives the staff member the confidence to undertake the day to day tasks in the knowledge they are competently trained.

PDP Programmes – We use our Personal development programmes to really take a look at where the employee has envisioned there career path and the steps to make that vision a reality. This is then put into specific goals to enhance the employees skill set and knowledge to give them the ability

Sustainability / environmental stewardship

At A.R.Richards we strive to make a true impact on sustainability and at our core we believe in reuse, reduce, recycle as a efficient process to cut down waste both in energy and materials.

As part of our ECO friendly stance we have just installed a plant and wildlife area where we have used recycled tyres for planters and soil from our recycling station, this in turn will allow plants and insects to thrive on our site. Please see picture above.

We are also one of the Largest Seconds Concrete product distributor’s in the U.K giving life back to concrete products which would have been destroyed and turned to rubble, again using the process of reuse reduce recycle to reduce energy and new material costs.
