Avon Timber Merchants is an independent family-run business with over 30 years’ experience. Established in 1990 by Geoff Lomasney, the business was originally located in Rugby before moving to its current site in Baginton, Coventry in 1999 where it’s now ran by Geoff’s son Steve with the help of his brother Carl and a first-class team.

We’re passionate about the use of wood in the construction and building industry and pride ourselves on our ability to provide customers with high-quality and responsibly-sourced timber at competitive prices.

Our 3-acre site carries a comprehensive range of products for both domestic and commercial projects and houses a fully-equipped sawmill and joinery shop that enables us to cut, machine and manufacture most requirements, as well as bespoke orders.

With easy access to major road links, we’re well placed to deliver to locations right across the UK, and offer a fast, national delivery service both locally and within an 80-mile radius.

We live by the motto that we’re ‘big enough to deliver, small enough to care’ which is why we put our customers at the heart of everything we do and will always go above and beyond to ensure expectations are exceeded, not just met.

Our team’s expertise and approachable nature, combined with our product quality, range and pricing, is what we believe sets us apart from our competitors and is why over the years, we have built an enviable client base covering a broad spectrum of industry sectors.

And as well as caring for the needs of our customers, we’re also big on giving back. That’s why we do lots to support the local community and good causes by providing materials for projects, hosting charity golf days and sponsoring charitable events.
