For over 250 years, Bradfords has been a cornerstone in the South West, proudly serving communities across the region. From humble beginnings in 1770, we’ve grown to over 45 branches across the West Country and remain a successful family-owned business with a dedicated team of over 800 people, passionate about what we do.

Life cover is payable at x1 gross salary for all employees and x4 gross salary for all employees contributing 4% into the company pension scheme.

From entry level apprenticeships, through to senior management development, we can help you succeed. Having the right approach to learning and a desire to develop your skills set is an important factor. We have a wide range of development opportunities including apprenticeships, on-the-job learning and accredited skills training as well as manager and senior management development programmes, all of which are supported by a variety of training methods. We know that face-to-face training provides the best outcomes for our business and this is how we prefer to train people, complemented by online learning which allows you to access information and learn at your pace.
Apprenticeships
We are proud of our apprentices and the apprenticeships we offer. All our apprentices quickly establish themselves as key team players, often becoming the most multi-skilled person in their teams. Our apprenticeships start at entry level (Level 2) and as part of their programme, apprentices are given opportunities to learn about the wider business and meet key people from different business areas in addition to working out of different business and branch locations to get a better understanding of how things are done.
All our apprentices are offered permanent roles at the end of their apprenticeship and we continue to support and help them develop during their time with us.

We aim to work closely with schools and colleges and support a variety of initiatives to help people as they start to make career choices. Along with work experience placements, we offer career support through mock interviews, CV writing techniques, career journey talks and through attending careers fairs and events.
