Carvers Building Supplies have been established in Wolverhampton for more than a century.

Founded in 1896 by Harry Carver to become one of Wolverhampton’s first builders merchants and now in the fifth generation of the Carver family, Carvers continues to be Wolverhampton’s one stop shop for all your building needs.

Serving a market of five million people in and around the West Midlands, the business employs over 300 people (most of them local), has a delivery fleet of more than 30 vehicles and annual sales in excess of £50 million.

Based at a ten acre site in the heart of Wolverhampton and supplemented by a specialist timber business a few miles away, Carvers continue to go from strength to strength.  With trade customers at the forefront of their minds, they also have a Drive Thru warehouse, ensuring customers are in and out as swiftly as possible, Fibo Collect (on site ready mixed Concrete, Mortar and Screed facility) and a Hire Centre and Tool Sales division.

Recruitment is key and the quality and retention of employees is of paramount importance to Carvers.  They are most proud that a third of their employees have over ten years service and over 40 members of staff with 20+ years service.
