Chards was originally founded in 1923 as H.J Chard & Sons, only rebranding to Chards Building Supplies in 2016 after the business was acquired by Concrete Fabrications Ltd (the parent company of Bowland Stone). We stock thousands of product lines from drainage systems & safety equipment to landscaping materials & timber.  We work hard to continue to bring our customers high quality products at competitive prices, with our bulk buy rates even better.

We pride ourselves on our high standards of customer service and our expert team’s extensive knowledge of the industry, which is why they are available to assist customers in store or over the phone.

As a part of our customer service enhancement programme, we even have our very own accurate weighbridge on site. This is a free service to all customers who are required to have their vehicle weighed.  We welcome trade-collect customers, or they can utilise our excellent delivery services (with same and next day delivery available on request*) inside a 20 mile radius.
