Fixings & Fasteners by the Experts for the Experts
ForgeFix has been a specialist supplier of fixings and fastenings to the trade since 1991.
We are one of the UK’s leading distributors of known fixings and fastener brands, we supply in excess of 5,000 different product lines to trade customers such as builder’s merchants, plumbing and heating merchants, DIY outlets, hardware stores, and to businesses involved in trades like joinery, glazing and roofing.
As a fixings and fastener specialist, we have successfully designed and developed brands that are well known and respected within the trade. We complement our brands with those designed and developed by our trusted partners, who in turn, are experts in their area of specialism.
Fixings & Fastener Expertise
Our impressive growth can be attributed to the wealth of experience and expertise within the ForgeFix team.
This expertise allows us to identify new product opportunities and extensions to our existing ranges. We then work closely with our manufacturing partners in Europe and Asia to design and develop products for our family of brands.
We take great care to audit our overseas factories to ensure the fair and ethical treatment of staff. Extensive Importation knowledge and experience is essential to maintain consistent stock levels for our customers.
Packaging and presentation of products is a key part of our product launch process. displaying clear and informative information on our packaging helps differentiate ForgeFix products from our competitors. We are also working to improve on packaging waste and minimising our use of non-recyclable plastic.
Exemplary Levels Of Service
Fixings and fastener expertise extends to the service we provide for our customers. We are privileged to be working with thousands of customers from independent builders merchants to multi-branch nationals. Every customer is of vital importance, without them there would be no ForgeFix.
By adhering to ISO9001:2015 quality standards and with a focus on continually training and developing our teams we will meet and exceed our customer’s high expectations.
We are members of the Timber Decking and Cladding Association (TDCA)
The TDCA is an independent, not-for-profit advisory and technical organisation, formed to influence and promote good industry practice. The TDCA is the recognised authority in the UK for all matters that relate to creating high performance, timber decking and cladding structures. Membership of the TDCA involves a surveillance audit of our Quality Management Systems, ensuring our commitment to supplying excellent products and services.
DeckMark® Accredited Products
DeckMark is a quality assurance (QA) scheme created for the Timber Decking and Cladding Association in consultation with BM TRADA Certification. The scheme is based on existing quality assurance standards – ISO 9000, EN45011/12, ISO Guide 62/65. The DeckMark accreditation reflects our commitment to quality and illustrates our support for the industry’s goal to promote the highest standard of products and workmanship.
To ensure our standards of performance are maintained, our DeckMark accreditation is reviewed or audited every 12 months by an independent inspector appointed by the TDCA.
DeckMark® Plus Performance Rated Products
TDCA DeckMark Plus is a complementary part of the TDCA DeckMark Product Manufacturing Certification Scheme. It identifies an individual manufactured component, or an assembly made from such components, that has undergone additional specific technical or safety evaluations by a recognised national or international standard. The DeckMark Plus accreditation means these products have undergone additional specific technical evaluations by recognised quantitative procedures.
