Founded in 1931, LBS Builders Merchants has grown to become the leading independent builders’ merchants with over 50 outlets across South Wales, supplying the most comprehensive range of building materials to the DIY, Self Build, Developer, Building, Roofing and Civil Engineering industries as well as Plumbing, Timber Specialists, Kitchen & Bathroom and Online Sales.

With our head office in Ammanford, LBS has grown to include 20 Merchant Branches, a Home Centre, specialist Civils Service, Roofing Business, 16 Plumbing Centres, 9 Kitchen & Bathroom Showrooms, a Renewables Centre, 2 Timber Specialist Branches and UK Build, our dedicated Online Sales Branch. With branches from Cardiff in the East to Pembroke Dock in the West and Aberystwyth further North, we offer a genuine same day/next day delivery service across the whole of South West Wales.

LBS is committed to providing excellence in customer service achieved through the commitment and knowledge of all our staff, along with continual training and investment within the business. LBS employ over 500 staff throughout our branch network and commands a fleet of 100 commercial vehicles.
