Founded in 1875, Nicholls and Clarke Group is a manufacturer, distributor, and retailer of building materials throughout the UK. We have a committed team of over 450 people supplying building materials to the trade and retail markets.

Operating from 19 sites throughout the UK – the headquarters being at Chadwell Heath where the Holding Company shares the premises with the Builders Merchants distributing Ironmongery, Sanitaryware, Decorating, and Heavyside materials throughout London and the Home Counties.

Nicholls and Clarke are made up of 6 brands and businesses: N&C Building Material, N&C Nicobond, N&C Phlexicare, N&C Tiles and Bathrooms, N&C Glass, and N&C Moderna.

N&C Building Materials:

N&C Building Materials are a long-established builder’s merchant servicing the South East of England.  We offer a comprehensive range of over 60,000 building products to trade professionals including building materials, sanitaryware, doors and joinery, ironmongery, landscaping materials, bricks and blocks, timber, ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, natural stone, adhesives, tiling systems, decorating products, electric and hand tools and an extensive independent living solutions portfolio.

N&C Nicobond:

Nicobond are leading, quality manufacturer and distributor of tiling solutions and systems within the tile industry.  Established in 1958, Nicobond has broad, unrivaled expertise and experience in providing approved solutions to help overcome everyday specialist installations where only high-performance product formulations and performance will suffice. With a strong technical team, Nicobond can offer invaluable technical expertise and advice for clients for the ultimate in confidence, reliability, and service.

N&C Phlexicare:

N&C Phlexicare are pioneering, British manufacturer and distributor of showering, daily living, access, wall & floor, and kitchen solutions within the healthcare construction market. We design, manufacture, and distribute a full range of complete inclusive solutions with users, housing organizations, carers, and installers in mind.

Nicholls & Clarke Glass: 

Nicholls & Clarke Glass is one of the largest independent manufacturers in the Southeast, supplying quality sealed units, architectural processed glass, and stock glass. As an independent glass supplier since 1875, we also have the flexibility of offering a full range of glass products from all major glass manufacturers. N&C Glass can offer a flexible delivery service to all customers throughout the Midlands and Southern England with our fleet of well over 30 commercial vehicles, including Hiab lorries, HGV, and small vans. As part of a £70 million Group, we can commit to our market through ongoing investments to offer the best in quality, capacity, performance, availability, distribution, and customer service. To us, quality is paramount. We have a dedicated and experienced team dedicated to the production of quality products. We have been kite-marked for over 25 years. At N&C Glass, we specialize in: Architectural Processed Glass, Stock Distribution, Ecolite™ Sealed Units, High-Performance Commercial Sealed Units, Window Energy Rated Sealed Units, Fire Glass, Conservatory Roof Glass, and Heritage Units including Ecolite Slim. 

N&C Tiles and Bathrooms:

Nicholls & Clarke are nationwide retailers of quality tile and bathroom products, with 18 award-winning stores located all around the UK. We offer inspirational, award-winning ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, natural stone, mosaics, wet rooms, bathroom products, and an extensive range of tiling and flooring solutions, tools, and accessories. With over £10,000,000 worth of stock throughout our distribution centers, we offer an express click-and-collect service for consumers and the trade, alongside home delivery and a sample service to help aid in decision-making.

N&C Moderna:

Nicholls & Clarke have a commercial and domestic tiling contractor under N&C Moderna, one of the largest, award-winning commercial and domestic tiling contractors, predominantly covering London and the South East of England and recognized as Tiling Contractors of the Year 2013 by The Tile Association. Established in 1980 we specialize in all types of ceramic, porcelain, mosaic, and natural stone finishes. We are capable of undertaking a diverse range of projects in the Public and Private sectors including commercial, leisure, and residential categories, utilizing our combined experience and knowledge to provide the greatest level of quality workmanship.
