Career development and growth

Within OX there are many opportunities to grow and develop within the organisation within the UK and Globally. Each employee has access to learning platforms and works with their line manager to create a development plan aimed at enhancing their skills and advancing into their desired roles.

Sustainability / environmental stewardship

Since November 2022 we have removed the use of acrylic plastic packing tape on all of our customer orders. Removing the plastic tape to a more sustainable paper tape means we have successfully eliminated approximately 800kg of plastic from our operation every single month.

In addition, we have made the investment to fully equip the UK distribution team with state-of-the-art paper filling machines to switch to a paper filling for our shipping boxes instead of plastic bubble wrap.

This also saves an additional 10 tones of plastic from being used over a calendar year and means all OX dispatches are now using 95% environmentally friendly materials. Any remaining plastic in our outer packaging is also made from 30% recycled plastic.

Not only that but by optimizing pallets, reducing wasted space per box we have also reduced the amount of plastic wrap being used by 40%.
