About Stamco Hoppings

Stamco Hoppings is an importing, manufacturing and wholesale distribution business that supplies a range of timber, boards and wood flooring products to timber and builders merchants, construction companies and a variety of manufacturers across a large area of the South of England.

Stamco-Hoppings was formed in April 2022 when Hoppings Softwood Products Ltd business was acquired by The Sussex Turnery and Moulding Company (Stamco), this acquisition merged two established companies with very similar commercial principals, visions and goals. Stamco-Hoppings operates from three sites North and South of London, Hastings (Sussex), Epping (Essex) and Lingfield (Surrey) and we employ over 75 employees.

Stamco Hoppings is proud to be part of the Independent Builders Merchant Group (IBMG). IBMG is the largest independent merchant group in the South of England operating through five core divisions (Builders Merchants, Timber, Plumbing & Heating, Roofing and Electrical), primarily serving trade customers with an extensive range of products. IBMG has over 170 branches extending from Penzance to Margate, generating revenues in excess of £650 million and are supported by over 2,200 colleagues.
