About Trading Depot

Trading Depot was established in July 2007 with the goal of creating the leading DIY and Trade website. www.tradingdepot.co.uk was launched in March 2008 as a one-stop solution for the Trade, DIY Markets and retail with over 50,000 products available to buy online, with hundreds of new ones being added each month.

At Trading Depot, we have a deep respect and appreciation for our customers. We strive to serve their needs for quality plumbing, electrical, heating, lighting, bathroom, landscaping, tools or safety wear supplies, with over 23 employees supporting our vision to be the best online merchant to do business with.

The desire to serve our customers has been the driving force behind our growth and our strategy. From our Branch Support Centres to our dedicated team, every individual plays a role in helping ensure the business’ success.

Trading Depot is proud to be part of the Independent Builders Merchant Group (IBMG). IBMG is the largest independent merchant group in the South of England operating through five core divisions (Builders Merchants, Timber, Plumbing & Heating, Roofing and Electrical), primarily serving trade customers with an extensive range of products. IBMG has over 170 branches extending from Penzance to Margate, generating revenues in excess of £650 million and are supported by over 2,200 colleagues.
