The Role

We are looking for a dependable Credit Controller to join our team in Polegate Head Office, supporting multiple branches.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring effective credit control and helping us continue delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and allocate:
• Set up new customer accounts and assign credit limits in line with risk policies
• Review credit reports and assess customer risk
• Chase overdue payments and manage delinquent accounts
• Arrange payment plans where appropriate

Work closely with:

• Branch teams
• Sales teams
• Customers
• Debt collection agencies

• Support improvements to credit control processes and policies
• Assist with audits, projects, and acquisition integrations
• Payments
• Credit notes
• Refunds

What We’re Looking For

• ✅ Previous Credit Control experience (2+ years desirable)
• ✅ Strong communication and negotiation skills
• ✅ Ability to manage workload and priorities
• ✅ Attention to detail and accuracy
• ✅ Confidence working with multiple stakeholders
