As part of the introduction of a centralised Environment Management function, we’re looking for an Environment Coordinator to play a key role in shaping how our non-production environments are managed across the business.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technical environment, enjoys working with a wide range of stakeholders, and wants to have real influence on how systems, environments, and processes are designed and delivered.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be at the heart of ensuring our environments are fit for purpose, efficient, and aligned to business needs, supporting both project delivery and operational performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and managing non-production environments to support project and operational demand
  • Working closely with project and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver effective environment solutions
  • Acting as a key point of contact to bridge the gap between business and technology teams
  • Owning and managing environment refresh activities, ensuring data compliance (including PII) and alignment across systems
  • Providing and managing user access to non-production environments
  • Creating and maintaining environment processes, templates, maps, and usage calendars
  • Supporting test defect resolution and environment-related challenges
  • Driving continuous improvement, introducing new ideas and enhancing existing processes

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who combines technical understanding with strong stakeholder engagement skills, and who can confidently operate in a complex IT landscape.

You’ll likely bring:

  • Experience in an Environment Coordinator, Technical Coordinator, or similar IT role
  • Strong understanding of environment management principles and processes
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across technical and business teams
  • Experience working within complex, integrated IT environments
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
  • A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to challenge the norm and drive change

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Experience within Devops or DevSecOps environments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices
  • An ITIL qualification
  • Understanding of GDPR and data compliance in environment management

The Kind of Person Who Will Thrive Here

  • Analytical and organised, able to manage multiple priorities with ease
  • A confident communicator who can adapt their style to different audiences
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable working in evolving environments
  • Someone who enjoys creating structure, improving processes, and driving efficiency
  • Resilient, adaptable, and motivated to make a real impact

Why Join Us?

This role is more than just coordination, it’s an opportunity to shape and influence how environment management is delivered across a major UK business.

You’ll be part of a team that is driving change, improving capability, and building for the future, with real scope to leave your mark.

Interested?

If you’re looking for a role where you can combine technical expertise, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement, we’d love to hear from you.
