We’re looking for an experienced Forklift Truck Driver to join the yard team at our busy Mansfield depot. This is a fast-paced, practical role at the heart of our operation, supporting customers, suppliers, and colleagues to keep everything running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing

• Safely operating a forklift to pick, load, and unload vehicles
• Assisting customers, suppliers, and delivery drivers on site
• Picking orders manually and handling heavy materials where required
• Keeping the yard clean, organised, and safe, with high standards of presentation
• Managing stock rotation and highlighting shortages or issues
• Carrying out daily checks on plant and machinery and reporting defects or H&S concerns
• Working closely with the wider yard team to maintain an efficient operation

What we’re looking for

• Valid forklift licence and experience operating a forklift
• Previous experience working in a builders’ merchant environment
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong awareness of safety procedures
• Eligible to work in the UK

What we offer

• Salary: £30,628 per annum
• Hours: 6.30am–5pm Monday to Friday
• Holiday: 23 days plus Bank Holidays
• Discretionary bonus scheme
