Join our team at Grant & Stone Building Supplies, a respected independent builder’s merchant serving the Southeast since 1987. With a commitment to quality products and exceptional customer service, we are part of the Independent Builders Merchant Group (IBMG), the largest independent merchant group in the South of England

The Role

We are currently seeking a skilled HGV HIAB Driver to join our team at Chalfont Branch . The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations. When not driving you will be required to work in the yard serving customers and assisting in yard duties.

Requirements

Specific Experience & Skills Required

  •  To transport goods and materials to designated locations
  •  Ensure safe and timely delivery of products
  •  Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
  •  Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  •  Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
  •  Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary
Requirements:
  •  HIAB Class 2 licence
  •  Valid CPC and Tacho card
  •  Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
  •  Excellent driving skills
  •  Strong attention to detail and time management skills

The Hours 

Week 1: Monday to Friday – 07:30 to 17:15

Week 2 : Monday to Friday – 07:30 to 17:15 & Saturdays 08:00-12:00
