Independent Roofing Supplies specialises in roofing products across the Southeast, with customer service at the forefront of everything we do. As part of Independent Builders Merchants Group (IBMG), we deliver expert roofing support with strong supply capabilities.

Join our Newhaven branch as a Yard Operative and help keep our yard running safely and efficiently while delivering great customer service.

Requirements

What you’ll do:
✅ Load and unload roofing materials
✅ Pick and prepare customer orders
✅ Assist customers collecting goods
✅ Maintain a clean, safe, and organised yard
✅ Operate a forklift (if trained)
✅ Follow health & safety procedures

What we’re looking for:
✔ Positive, can-do attitude
✔ Good communication and customer service skills
✔ Full UK driving licence
✔ Forklift licence desirable (not essential)
✔ Yard or builders’ merchant experience preferred

Hours:
2 days per week (TBC)
⏰ 7:00am–5:00pm
