Job description
Mannok are continuing to grow, and we are looking for an experienced and driven Precast Contract Manager to join our team in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality precast concrete projects while working with one of the leading building materials companies in the region.
The Precast Contract Manager is responsible for the successful execution of all Precast installations; flooring, stairs, walls, agricultural project (as required) and custom solutions.
Acting as a central hub between fitters, safety, despatch, production, design, sales personnel and other management, the Contracts Manager shall ensure associated targets are met on site and that projects are delivered efficiently on time and within budget.
Reduction and elimination of site issues is a primary goal, but the Contracts Manager shall also respond to relevant problems on site, making decisions in a timely manner. Issues on site shall be fed back to management and the relevant employees, serving as a useful improvement mechanism.
Requirements
Precast Installation & Safety
- Attend prestart meetings and assess site conditions
- When required, assist/ oversee specification of installation methods
- Supervise all fitting crew and audit to ensure proper procedures are used
- Liaise with Health and Safety team on current issues and new procedures
- Liaise with drawing office and engineers on possible improvements at design stage
- Higher level involvement in day-to-day custom installations, assisting and guiding the installation team
Despatch & Production
- Work alongside the sales despatch team to ensure efficient use of resources
- Assist in production and despatch planning if and when required
- Specify and ensure the correct equipment is available for installation
- On larger projects, advise despatch on fitting sequence pre-manufacture to ensure efficient flow through production
- Higher level involvement in daily despatch functions – assisting and guiding where necessary
Sales Guidance & Tendering:
- Attend site meetings as Mannok’s technical representative
- Assist pricing larger and bespoke projects
- Provide input on cranage and site works to support the build-up of quotations
- Analyse larger and difficult projects to help identify constraints
- Liaise with Sales Team at point of sale on larger projects (bespoke/ flooring/ walls etc) considering production and installation capacity
- Will be responsible for ensuring that, once projects are won, works are executed in line with agreed specifications to prevent cost overruns

Physical Requirements:
- Outdoor environment with exposure to weather, dust and noise
- Occasionally this is a physical role requiring lifting, standing and operating equipment for extended periods
- Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work based on production needs
- Requires strong commercial awareness alongside practical, hands-on experience
- Must be confident representing the business in high-level meetings
- Will be expected to undertake practical tasks on site when required (e.g. patching or cutting slabs)
- Role involves extensive travel to various sites
