Yard Assistant / Relief HGV Driver

In this role you will be expected to work alternate Saturday mornings throughout the year.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assisting customers
• Providing excellent customer service
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Picking and checking orders
• Storing stock safely
• Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
• You will also be required to make multi drop deliveries to customers in the surrounding area, providing top quality customer service driving the Class 2 HGV vehicles with the HIAB Crane.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

• Class 2 licence, digital tachograph card and up to date CPC training is essential for this role.
• For this position, knowledge of the building industry and building products would be a distinct advantage.
• A forklift license would also be a distinct advantage.
• In this role, you are the face of MKM to many of our customers.
