Roofing Gear is a specialist roofing merchant supplying roofing materials and solutions across Yeovil, Dorchester and Poole.

Working closely with roofing contractors, builders and trade professionals, we provide expert advice, quality products and outstanding service. As part of the Independent Builders Merchants Group (IBMG), we combine local expertise with the strength of a national business.

About the Role

As Branch Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the day-to-day success of the branch.

You’ll lead your team, drive sales and profitability, build strong customer relationships and identify new business opportunities within the local roofing market.

This is a hands-on role with real autonomy and the opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Requirements

✔ Lead and develop your branch team

✔ Drive sales, margin and branch profitability

✔ Build relationships with roofing contractors and trade customers

✔ Identify and win new business opportunities

✔ Deliver excellent customer service

✔ Manage branch operations and stock

✔ Maintain Health & Safety standards

✔ Create a positive and high-performing branch culture

✅ What We’re Looking For

✔ Branch Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor experience

✔ Background in roofing merchants, builders’ merchants or trade distribution

✔ Strong leadership and people management skills

✔ Commercial awareness and sales focus

✔ Excellent customer service skills

✔ A hands-on and proactive approach

✔ Passion for developing people and growing a business

Week 1

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00am – 4:00pm

Week 2

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00am – 4:00pm
• Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm
