Toolhire Driver - Beavertail - Lincoln, South

What will you be doing?

You’ll be delivering and collecting tools, equipment and plant from our branch to local customers, making sure everything is transported safely and securely.


You’ll be responsible for loading and unloading your vehicle, ensuring equipment is secured correctly and completing the necessary checks before setting off. You’ll also help maintain our equipment and make sure it is ready for customers.


As the face of Travis Perkins on the road, you’ll provide a professional, friendly service to our customers while completing around 14 deliveries and collections a day. Once your deliveries are complete, you’ll return to the branch to reload and prepare for the next day.


Who you are

  • Driving licence: You’ll need the appropriate HGV driving licence for the role, with up-to-date CPC records.
  • Toolhire experience: Previous experience in toolhire, plant hire or a similar environment is desirable, but full training will be provided.
  • Customer-focused: You’ll be confident building and developing positive relationships with customers and representing Travis Perkins professionally.
  • Safety-focused: You’ll prioritise safety in every aspect of your work, from loading and securing equipment to completing your deliveries and collections.
  • Hands-on: You’ll be comfortable working with tools and equipment and getting stuck in to help the branch and our customers.
