About the Role

The Opportunity

Are you a reliable and hard-working individual who enjoys a hands-on role, staying active and working in a team?

We're looking for a Warehouse Operative / Van Driver to join our busy High Wycombe branch.

As a Warehouse Operative / Van Driver, you'll play a key role in keeping our branch running smoothly by supporting warehouse operations and delivering electrical products to customers. This is a varied role combining driving, stock handling and customer service, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver electrical products as a Warehouse Operative / Van Driver to customer sites and premises
  • Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately
  • Support warehouse operations, stock control and replenishment
  • Cut and prepare cable orders
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and follow safety procedures
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service

What We're Looking For

  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Experience as a Warehouse Operative, Van Driver, or within a builders' merchant/electrical wholesale environment is desirable
  • Forklift experience beneficial (training provided)
  • Good local area knowledge
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Reliable, organised and customer-focused
