Job description

 Administrator/Counter Sales Assistant
Location: Llanelli

We’re looking for an organised, customer-focused Administrator/Counter Sales Assistant to join our team at Branch. This is a dual-role position that combines administrative support with customer-facing sales duties at our busy trade counter.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day-to-day responsibilities and is confident working in both office and retail environments.

What you’ll be doing:

Administration:

  • Daily banking and till reconciliation in line with company procedures.
  • Processing goods received notes and updating purchase orders.
  • Booking in IBTs and special orders.
  • Monitoring stock movements and resolving stock discrepancies.
  • Maintaining shelf-edge labels and stationery supplies.
  • Filing advice notes and providing proof of delivery when required.
  • Assisting with stock takes and correcting stock location issues.

Customer Sales:

  • Serving trade and domestic customers efficiently and professionally.
  • Responding to telephone and counter enquiries.
  • Providing product advice and ensuring a smooth customer experience.

 What we’re looking for:

  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask across admin and sales functions.
  • Previous experience in retail, admin, or trade counter environments is preferred.

Hours of work: An average of 40.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 7.30am – 4.30pm, plus every other Saturday morning from 8.00am until 12.00pm.
