The Role

We're looking for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead sales growth at our Keynsham branch.

This is a hands-on role where you'll build customer relationships, develop new business opportunities, support the branch team, and help drive sales, margin, and profitability across the business.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Drive sales growth and achieve branch sales and margin targets
✅ Build and strengthen relationships with trade and retail customers
✅ Develop new business and reactivate dormant accounts
✅ Support and develop branch colleagues to maximise performance
✅ Assist with delivering branch objectives and business plans
✅ Monitor local market trends and competitor activity
✅ Promote outstanding customer service at every opportunity
✅ Ensure compliance with company policies and Health & Safety standards
✅ Help maximise branch profitability and operational performance

What We're Looking For

✅ Experience in a builders' merchant, roofing merchant, or similar trade environment
✅ Proven sales and account management experience
✅ Strong negotiation and customer service skills
✅ Commercially aware with a results-driven mindset
✅ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
✅ Good IT skills; Kerridge experience desirable
✅ Leadership or supervisory experience beneficial
✅ Positive attitude and strong team ethic

Hours

Week 1: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm
Week 2: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm & Saturdays, 8:00am – 12:00pm
