You will manage from a commercial perspective; advise across the full range of commercial value-add options in addition to rates, and lead on financial elements of client pitches. You will act as trusted advisor, influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders relying on knowledge from prior engagement. You will contribute to pricing best practice including the build and maintenance of pricing templates and models.
Identify actionable commercial insights to improve returns; drive projects to optimise associated benefits, you will have a big picture approach to projects working cross-function; able to consider the impact across the organisation of new initiatives and inter-dependencies on concurrent projects
As a Yard Assistant, you will be expected to unload, handle, transport and store materials safely and securely. Assist customers to load their vehicles when required as well as assisting to prepare customers orders as advised by the Yard Supervisor. Answer customers’ questions and queries, or direct them to another member of staff. Maintain high standards of stock handling and management and ensure the yard is clean, tidy and free from hazards. Operate Fork Lift Trucks/lifting and moving equipment if qualified to do so.

Buying goods and materials at the best cost whilst ensuring quality standards are maintained and reliability of delivery. The Buyer will raise purchase orders via organisational systems, source new products, and resolve supply chain problems.
You will contribute to customer satisfaction by ensuring the accuracy and timely processing of orders. Assist the Manager in delivering the budgeted sales and margin targets as a minimum, and support the Manager in controlling the stock at agreed levels and ensuring that the core range is always available.

You will create long term strategic plans regarding category and company growth, manage promotional and work with marketing on specific plans for assigned categories and vendors.
You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our Kitchen & Bathroom customers whilst developing sales to meet the business targets and budgets by dealing with all customer pricing enquiries, orders and delivery instructions. You will be pro-active in driving sales and identifying new business opportunities, following up quotes, keeping in regular contact with your portfolio of customers and being able to confidently influence and negotiate. Alongside this you will manage the showroom, ensuring you and your team provide a courteous, responsive and safe service.
As Category Manager you will be responsible for establishing, developing and delivering an overall category strategy which meets the demands of customers whilst maximising profitability for the company. You will implement your category plan to deliver on the sales, margin and stock budgets, maximising margin delivery by managing suppliers efficiently and providing a product range to meet customer needs and deliver promotional activity to drive sales and competitiveness.
