Yard Assistant

As a Yard Assistant, you will be expected to unload, handle, transport and store materials safely and securely. Assist customers to load their vehicles when required as well as assisting to prepare customers orders as advised by the Yard Supervisor. Answer customers’ questions and queries, or direct them to another member of staff. Maintain high standards of stock handling and management and ensure the yard is clean, tidy and free from hazards. Operate Fork Lift Trucks/lifting and moving equipment if qualified to do so.
