(Please note: Occasional overnight stays may be required depending on customer locations. Full support and training alongside experienced colleagues will be provided as you settle into the role.)

What will you be doing?

You will lead and manage relationships with a portfolio of high-profile national accounts, working closely with them to hit sales and profit targets. No two days are the same, but key responsibilities include:

  • Business Development: Identifying and converting new business opportunities to increase revenue and grow National Portfolio   
  • Managing Accounts: Building strong relationships with national customers, handling enquiries, and converting quotes into orders using our “Quote Hub” system.
  • Maximising Sales: Ensuring all customer agreements reach their full sales potential through regular contact via phone and video calls.
  • Account Administration: Working alongside our Credit Services team to ensure payments are made on time and in full.

  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build strong, lasting customer relationships over the phone and video calls.

  • Industry Knowledge: Experience dealing with national housebuilders or main contractors within the hire industry across all sectors and mobilising national contracts is essential.

What will you be doing as Regional Sales Manager?
The Regional Sales Manager holds end-to-end accountability for the sales team’s profitability and operational excellence. By fostering a high-performance culture, you will bridge the gap between day-to-day office coordination and long-term strategic growth, ensuring every customer interaction drives value.

  • Drive the team to exceed sales targets and maximise profitability through active engagement and motivation.

  • Oversee daily sales office activities, ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams, the external sales force, and key stakeholders.

  • Maintain rigorous standards for safety, purchasing, and regulatory adherence, ensuring all activities align with company policy.

  • Contribute directly to revenue by identifying proactive engagement opportunities and delivering gold-standard customer service.

  • Manage and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline.

  • Proven track record in managing budgets, optimising expenses, and utilising sales data to drive informed business decisions.

  • Extensive experience managing the full end-to-end sales process, from initial lead generation to final closing.

Monday –  Friday 6.30-16.00 and every other Saturday 8am-12pm

  • Requirements: You’ll need a Class 2 driving license, up-to-date CPC records, and have held a Category B license for 12+ months.

  • HIAB experience: Don’t have HIAB experience? No problem! We’ll fund your HIAB training.

  • Customer-focused: You’ll be confident building and developing relationships with customers.

  • Safety-focused: You’ll prioritize safety in every aspect of your work, completing tasks in a professional manner.

Are you organised, great on the phone, and helpful to customers?

Join our Hire Desk team in Liverpool as a Hire Controller. In this role, you will help our national customers get the equipment and tools they need for their building projects across the UK.

What You’ll Be Doing     

  • You will be the main point of contact between our customers, our local branches, and our delivery drivers.
  • Your main duties will include:
  • Answering phone calls and emails from customers to take tool and equipment hire orders.
  • Managing orders from start to finish, from giving quotes to arranging deliveries, collections, and returns.
  • Working closely with branch staff, drivers, and suppliers to make sure tools are ready on time.
  • Solving any delivery or equipment issues quickly to keep customers happy.
  • Making calls to existing and prospective customers to let them know about our hire services.
  • Helping the team hit sales targets by offering the right products at the right prices.
