Working closely with the Branch Manager and Regional Sales Director, you’ll help shape a sales strategy that focuses on growing existing customers, winning back old ones, and bringing in new business. Your efforts will drive sales and help the branch hit its targets, all while keeping in line with our Keyline strategy.

Branch Sales Negotiator

The role:
As a branch based Sales Negotiator you will be handling customer orders and enquiries by phone and email on a daily basis whether that be from new or existing customers. Most of our customers are regulars, so you will build up friendly relationships by giving great customer service and asking the right questions to link sell other products that they might need for their projects (no cold calling is involved). You’ll hold a key role in the team ensuring supplier deliveries are booked onto the system and customer invoice queries are dealt with efficiently making sure customer orders are delivered on time and in full. 
What we are looking for:
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in sales as you will be provided with all the training you need to complete this role as well as product training. What we are looking for is someone who is self­ motivated, enthusiastic, organised, has good numerical skills and is happy to communicate with customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

As the Assistant Branch Manager, you’ll support the Branch Manager in achieving sales targets and boosting profitability while leading a motivated team. When the Branch Manager is away, you’ll take charge and help implement the branch’s strategy. Your role is to create fantastic customer relationships, inspire your team, and ensure the branch runs smoothly and efficiently.

This role is fast-paced and rewarding. At our Middlesborough branch, you’ll be part of a team with 10 people, 3 vehicles (2 x 18T, 1 x 26T), full tool hire, and a Benchmarx kitchen team. You’ll be working in a high-energy environment with plenty of customer interaction.
