TF Solutions, part of Travis Perkins Group, is the UK’s leading specialist distributor of air conditioning and refrigeration products. We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Technical team and take ownership of a Key Account from first enquiry through to final delivery.

This is a role for someone who thrives on detail, enjoys juggling multiple moving parts, and gets satisfaction from seeing a project land exactly as the customer expected, on time, on spec, and without the drama.

What you’ll be doing

You will be the main driver for a major client, bridging the gap between their needs and our internal teams. Working closely with Sales, you’ll ensure that every enquiry supports the client’s business goals while meeting our own commercial targets. 

You will also handle the day-to-day logistics by turning those plans into reality. You’ll work hand-in-hand with the Tech and Project teams to organize equipment schedules and track timelines, ensuring every installation stays on course and meets the customer’s technical needs. 

Day to day, you’ll:

  • Own end-to-end coordination of your Key Account, order management, delivery fulfilment, stock monitoring, and quote follow-ups

  • Work the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure

  • Support the development and continuous improvement of our Tech+ customer offering

  • Build strong working relationships across Sales, Tech, suppliers, and the wider TF Solutions network

  • Take a leading role in our project pipeline tracker, keeping it accurate, championing best practice, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks

  • Partner closely with the Project Manager to deliver best-in-class service

What we’re looking for

Essential:

  • Driving licence

  • Demonstrable track record in sales and customer service

  • Commercial awareness and confident negotiation skills

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills, you can talk to anyone, from an engineer on site to a board-level customer

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise your own workload

  • Comfortable with IT and able to produce and interpret basic financial/statistical information

  • Knowledge of sales processes

  • Good team ethic, plus the passion, drive, and initiative to make things happen

Nice to have:

  • Good presentation skills

  • Knowledge of company procedures and products

  • Air Conditioning technical knowledge

As the new Hire Manager at the Worksop branch, you’ll be at the forefront of driving success and hitting key targets! Your main responsibility will be to develop and execute a sales action plan that exceeds budget performance through a proactive sales approach. Working hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, and you’ll only work 2 Saturdays every 4 weeks (Saturdays are 8:00 am to 12:00 pm).

  • Stock Control: Balance stock levels to meet demand—ensuring the right gear’s available without ever letting it gather dust.

  • Leading the Team: Oversee the day-to-day of your Hire team. Train, supervise, and motivate for top-notch performance.

  • Top Service: Be the go-to for customer queries. Offer smart solutions and upsell like a pro to boost sales.

  • Communication: Keep the team and branch in the loop with daily toolbox talks and quick, effective communication.

  • Experience: If you’ve worked in tool hire, plant hire, or a leadership role before, great! But if you’ve got sales or customer service experience, we’re still keen.

Joining our friendly and hard working family as an Yard Sales Assistant, you’ll be on the front line dealing with our customers that come into our yard.  As part of the branch team, you will play a vital role in our continued success, providing a first class service.
What will I be doing?

No one day is the same as the next in TP branch life, but here are a few pointers:

  • Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers so it’s essential that you can help deliver the highest standards of service – the key thing is to be helpful and friendly at all times, you will likely get to know our customers on a first name basis.
  • You will be based outside, processing our customer orders, loading and unloading customer and company vehicles.
  • You will also unload our building products from supplier deliveries and accurately book them in the branch warehouse.
  • Experience of using a forklift is ideal, but don’t worry full training is provided
  • Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that our standards never slip, this means maintaining a tidy and safe working environment

This is a key customer facing role, you just need the ability to provide great customer service, we can teach you the rest.
