What you’ll be doing

As a Customer Sales Assistant, you’ll be the face of our branch, delivering exceptional customer service while prioritising safety for both customers and colleagues. Building strong, lasting relationships with customers is key to our success, so we’re looking for someone who is friendly, approachable, and eager to provide a high level of service. You’ll become familiar with many of our customers on a first-name basis!

In this role, you’ll:

  • Handle customer requests and provide product information

  • Prepare quotes and assist customers with their purchases to help boost sales

  • Ensure the smooth and safe movement of products throughout the branch

  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and policies

Your focus will be on delivering excellent customer service while ensuring that our safety standards are always met.

Branch Cleaner (PT- 16 hours per week)


Branch Cleaner

Must have full drivers license and access to your own car (business miles will be expensed)

This role will be covering a number of branches (Kidwelly, Llanelli, Gorseinon, Swansea) with a total of 16 hours per week (days/times can be discussed at interview but we can be fully flexible)

The role

Here at Travis Perkins, we take pride in the presentation of our branches. If you’re as serious as we are about creating a great first impression, we’ll value you highly. You’ll make sure the Trade Counter, Office and some parts of the Warehouse are kept clean and you’ll be the sort of person who knows just what it takes to keep everything presentable for our customers. Maintaining our standards of cleanliness, hygiene and general housekeeping you’ll ensure that you follow all the health and safety requirements of the branch.

What we are looking for

When it comes to your existing skills and experience, personality is the first thing we look for. You’ll have a can do attitude and great interpersonal skills whilst being used to working at a fast pace.

Branch Sales Co-ordinator

The role
Serving our customers on the trade counter, you will ensure that the customer is fully satisfied with the products they receive. By asking the right questions, you will ensure the customer has the right products for their requirements. You will be able to follow company procedures with regards to completing paperwork for our account customers and handling cash sales for our non account customers. You will also be responsible for merchandising our shop area and maintaining our excellent standards.
What we are looking for
When it comes to your existing skills and experience, personality is the first thing we look for.  You will be given all the training and support needed to gain the technical skills. You will need to have great interpersonal skills, be quick to learn and used to working accurately at pace.
