If an employee discovers another employee is victimising, harassing or discriminating against a colleague or external contact, they take responsibility for acting.
Managers base employment decisions on objective criteria and qualifications, such as education, prior experience and merit.
Managers communicate clearly and openly the reasons for any change affecting an employee’s role or terms of employment.

Sustainability / environmental stewardship

We have developed a sustainability plan with objectives and activities that guides us when implementing our corporate strategy. Our sustainability work is integrated with the business and we have therefore an integrated annual report and sustainability report. The long-term targets are equally important, regardless of whether they are financial goals or sustainability goals.
Our sustainability work consists of activities in many different areas – from increasing knowledge about healthy indoor environments to launching new energy-efficient products, working systematically with safety, reducing the environmental impact of transport, finding new ways to optimise steel usage and how to support the local communities we are part of.
