Job description
We have a great opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor to join our team based out of our Support Centre in Yeovil. The opportunity to work from home is provided and a hybrid model can be arranged to suit both the individual and the needs of the business.
As the first point of contact for customers over the telephone, you will deal with a wide range of enquiries; from providing information about our products and services through to dealing with complaints and processing customer refunds or exchanges as well as providing updates regarding product delivery. You will liaise with suppliers to arrange collections and deliveries and to ensure you are aware of order status, stock availability and delivery times.
Requirements
You will have excellent communication skills and be confident when dealing with customers over the phone and online via our live chat portal to help generate sales and respond to queries. You must be able to work unsupervised and demonstrate that you are able to manage your time and organise your workload effectively, to ensure we maintain a consistently high level of customer service. Internal relationships are key to this role, so an ability to work with others both in the workplace and remotely across our branch network is also key.
You will have previous experience of working within a customer service environment and be able to demonstrate a passion for providing a great service to our customer base. You will be resilient and enjoy interacting with customers as well as solving problems and finding solutions when issues arise.
The customer service team operates between 8am and 7pm, Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays and you will join part of a team rota. We are flexible regarding start and finish times but will need to ensure that overall, the team covers our working hours and therefore, some flexibility is essential.
