About the Role
We’re growing our team at our Taunton branch and are looking for a reliable and experienced Senior Sales Assistant.
You’ll play a key role in delivering excellent service to both trade and retail customers, while supporting the day-to-day running of the branch.
Requirements
What You’ll Do
- Greet customers and provide friendly, expert advice
- Recommend products based on customer needs
- Build strong relationships to drive sales and repeat business
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Maintain stock levels and carry out regular stock checks
- Resolve customer queries and complaints quickly
- Help with visual merchandising and promotions
- Assist with store events and sales initiatives
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Experience in retail or customer-facing sales (essential)
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Strong communication and people skills
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Mentoring/training experience (desirable, not essential)
⏰ Working Hours
- Week 1: Mon–Fri, 7:30am–5:00pm
- Week 2: Mon–Fri, 7:30am–5:00pm
- Saturday, 8:00am–12:00pm
