We’re expanding our team at our CRS Building Supplies Keynsham Branch and are looking for a reliable and customer‑focused Internal Sales Assistant to support our trade and retail customers.

The Role

As an Internal Sales Assistant, you’ll be a key part of our sales team, delivering excellent customer service and helping drive branch performance. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for customer service and sales to grow within a supportive business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve customers in person and over the phone

  • Respond to sales enquiries professionally and efficiently

  • Work with the sales team to achieve sales targets

  • Develop strong product knowledge to advise customers accurately

  • Maintain stock levels and keep the sales area organised

  • Build positive, long‑term customer relationships

  • Use computer‑based sales systems (training provided)

  • Support wider branch activities, including stock control and yard support


What We’re Looking For

  • Previous customer‑facing experience (retail or sales preferred)

  • Friendly, confident communicator with a customer‑first approach

  • Team player with a proactive attitude

  • Comfortable handling telephone enquiries

  • Basic computer skills (full system training provided)

  • Motivated to deliver excellent service and meet targets

Working Hours

Week 1:

  • Monday–Friday: 07:00–17:00

Week 2:

  • Monday–Friday: 07:00–17:00
  • Saturday: 08:00–12:00
