Temporary Warehouse Assistant
Location: UK Build Supplies

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to join our team at UK Build Supplies. This is a hands-on role within a busy warehouse environment, supporting the smooth running of daily operations from goods inwards through to dispatch.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in accuracy, and works well as part of a team.

What you’ll be doing:

Warehouse Operations:
• Picking, packing and dispatching daily orders quickly and accurately in line with company procedures.
• Updating dispatch information on eCommerce platforms to ensure customers receive accurate tracking details.
• Receiving and checking incoming goods, ensuring correct quantities and condition.
• Organising and storing stock correctly within the warehouse, maintaining accurate stock locations.
• Assisting with customer returns processes.
• Carrying out regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
• Monitoring stock levels and responding to occasional stock enquiries.

General Duties:
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse and packing area.
• Monitoring and reporting shortages of packing materials.
• Following all company procedures and health & safety guidelines at all times.
• Ensuring security of stock and company property.
• Supporting the wider team and carrying out reasonable requests from management.

What we’re looking for:

• A proactive and reliable approach to work.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not essential.

Hours of work: An average of 38.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8.00am – 4.30pm.
