IT/Software Technician
What’s involved in the role?
You will maintain software and equipment, supporting/troubleshooting various business and support functions. Testing IT systems and diagnosing issues. Changing system and application settings. Installing software and security systems.
The role may involve training people on IT software and systems. Upgrading network infrastructure and software. Enabling remote mobile working and supporting colleagues with IT issues.
Salary
£22 – £33k
Personal skills
You will need to have the ability to work well with others and good knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware and software. You will be analytical in your thinking and have knowledge of engineering science and technology.
You will need to be thorough and pay attention to detail. Excellent verbal communication skills.
Entry requirements
A software engineering bachelor’s degree.
