Production Manager

What’s involved in the role?

A Production Manager will be expected to maximise the profitability of the production unit, and ensure that safe working practices are strictly adhered to, the H&S Policy is fully observed and all inspections and examinations are carried out on time.
You will ensure that staff are trained to produce quality output and products. The role holder will also ensure that the efficiency and cleanliness of the production facilities are maintained.
Ensure the accurate recording of production times, methods and costs while scheduling the production of materials to cover customer demands. You will ensure that cover is provided for all production processes and liaising with the General Manager to manage this.

Salary

£35 – £40K

Entry requirements

Minimal 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing or engineering management environment. BSc, or degree level qualification. Adept with a key manufacturing quality methodology such as LEAN, FMEA, 8D, Problem solving, MS Project, Six Sigma, SPC, strong Health and Safety experience, minimum IOSH qualification essential will be trained to NEBOSH.

Pathways in

Experience at Production Supervisor level plus Level 3 Production Management.
