Location: Head Office, Ammanford – Covering Pembroke Dock, Tenby, Milford Haven

We’re looking for a driven and customer-focused Account Manager to join our Sales team. Reporting to the Branch Manager and Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for maximising profitable sales, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage a designated customer ledger to grow sales and profitability.
  • Identify and win new business opportunities within the trading area.
  • Provide accurate quotations and actively promote company offers and product ranges.
  • Conduct daily site visits to maintain and develop customer relationships.
  • Negotiate competitive prices with suppliers and support joint customer visits.
  • Log weekly sales activity and report to management in line with company procedures.
  • Always represent the business professionally and promote our brand image.
  • Support the branch team when required, including stock counts and in-branch duties.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in sales or account management, ideally within the builders’ merchant, construction, or related trade sector.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, with excellent time management and organisational abilities.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Are you commercially driven with great people skills? We’re looking for a proactive Key Accounts Sales Negotiator to join our team and help us grow and strengthen relationships with our key customers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with Key Account Managers and the wider sales team to achieve targets.
  • Provide excellent customer service — by phone, email, and face-to-face when required.
  • Prepare, maintain, and follow up on quotations using the Area Contracts Office (ACO) system.
  • Maximise sales growth by promoting offers and optimising margins.
  • Handle customer disputes with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both customers and suppliers.
  • Manage leads, track opportunities, and process sales orders accurately.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as filing, raising purchase orders, and collating data for reporting.
  • Support with stock checks and other operational tasks when required.

Rebate Controller

We’re looking for an organised and reliable Rebate Controller to join our Finance team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing supplier rebates, keeping records up to date, and making sure rebate payments are claimed, received, and reconciled correctly. If you enjoy working with numbers, have great attention to detail, and like building good working relationships, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the company’s rebate database.
  • Update and manage the buying group’s online rebate system.
  • Ensure supplier rebates are claimed and received on time.
  • Reconcile rebate payments and resolve any queries.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding rebate claims.
  • Produce monthly reports on outstanding rebates.
  • Process inter-company invoices when required.
  • Attend supplier meetings where needed.
  • Maintain accurate rebate records and spreadsheets.
  • Identify ways to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Support the office team with general administration when required.

What We’re Looking For

  • AAT Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Previous experience in a finance or accounts role.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong numerical and organisational skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to build good relationships.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

As an LGV Driver, you’ll be a vital part of our delivery operations — safely transporting goods to customers while ensuring excellent service and maintaining high standards on and off the road. When not driving, you’ll also support branch and yard operations to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure safe loading, securing and unloading of goods.
  • Operate a vehicle-mounted hi-ab crane (after training).
  • Deliver products safely and professionally to customer sites.
  • Always maintains a clean and tidy vehicle.
  • Assist customers and provide product support when required.
  • Support the branch team in preparing deliveries, serving customers, and managing stock.
  • Follow all health & safety, driving, and company procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A valid LGV (Large Goods Vehicle) driving licence.
  • Driver CPC and relevant qualifications.
  • A professional, polite, and helpful attitude with customers.
  • Hi-Ab crane operation experience.
  • A strong focus on safety, accuracy, and customer care.
  • Forklift licence (desirable or willingness to train).
  • Willingness to assist in the yard and warehouse when not driving.
